La Academia México has generated stars like Yahir, who got a fourth place in the
first generation and today is one of the most popular Latin artists. The record
sales phenomenon of Yuridia, who sold a million copies worldwide, also came from La
Academia México; in the last five years Yuridia's has been the second best selling
album in Mexico. From a similar show called Operación Triunfo La Academia in Spain,
second place finalist became Latin Pop idol David Bisbal.

Frankie is the first artist from La Academia USA (1st generation) to sign an
exclusive record deal.
